Dentures and Partials

Dentures are customized devices designed to replace all missing teeth on entire upper and/or lower arch. Traditional dentures are removable and rely only on the gums and soft tissues for support; however, they can be fitted to specialized implants placed in the jaw to make them more secure.

Removable partial dentures offer an option for patients who are missing some teeth on an arch. They typically have clasps and require neighboring teeth as anchors. This type of prosthetic appliance is quickly becoming replaced today either with implants or fixed porcelain bridges due to the negative effect it may present to adjacent teeth.
